Astoria Inn Laguardia Hotel - New York

a huge variety of goodies for breakfast. safe area, marvellous location, really close to the first metro station as well as manhattan. extremely great, amicable people working here.

Honestly no complains at all. Fine hotel located in a safe area close to subway station. Big room and exceptionally comfortable bed. The staff - AMAZINGLY GREAT and nice.

I stayed here 5 nights and liked it. Everyone was nice and helpful. Btw, the airport was 1 km away...

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great breakfast options, and a safe location with convenient parking made our stay enjoyable, and the proximity to Astoria Boulevard allowed us easy access to the city's highlights.

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean everything felt, and I absolutely loved the beautiful views of Manhattan from my room. The Netflix options were a fun bonus for downtime!

The stay was decent for our needs since we spent most days out exploring the area. The local food scene was a pleasant surprise, especially the fresh salads nearby. The curtains in the room blocked out light well. There was a funky smell lingering in the room, and we had issues with the fridge making noise, which affected our comfort a bit.

Great location near Dunkin' and shops, but the Wi-Fi kept disconnecting.

Oh my, the local eats around here are next level! Grabbed a fresh salad at Cafe Noisette that blew my mind. The rooms block out light so you can catch those precious Zs, and the Netflix options kept us entertained.

But let's spill some tea, there's no safe, a total bummer. We got a funky smell in the room that wasn't too inviting, and had to unplug the fridge because it sounded like a rock concert at night!

The room provided a great level of comfort, with excellent temperature control. The friendliness of the reception staff.

While the overall experience was good, the hotel could improve on dining options.

It was just a proper fit for a brief visit in New York with value for money. The staff helped me with my luggage, making things a lot easier since I didn't have to carry it all myself.

The proximity to transportation options is solid. Plus, there are plenty of diverse dining spots nearby that offer some good local eats.

The place feels a bit run-down with noticeable scratches on the walls and not-so-clean floors. You might want to keep your shoes on. Don't expect to hang your towels or clothes. The bathroom has no hooks or racks at all. Plus, many shared areas are unkempt, and I wouldn't even think about using the public restrooms in the lobby. The noise level from the hallways can disrupt your sleep too. On top of that, the phone in the room didn't work when I needed it to report some issues-a bit inconvenient.

The location is great with quick access to grocery stores and metro stations. My room was clean and comfy, and I loved the view from the high floor!
